I am both enthusiastic and delighted to become the 86th President of the Hamilton Transportation Club. I am joined by a very dedicated group of people, and together we are pleased to represent you this year as the board of directors for the Hamilton Transportation Club.
The City of Hamilton continues to be a major centre for transportation, and our organization is capitalizing on the growth within the transportation industry in this city. As a non-profit volunteer organization, we seek to stimulate partnerships within the Hamilton transportation industry, while at the same time advance the interests of our members. Our organization also focuses on giving back to the community. We have not only established scholarships with both Mohawk College and McMaster University, but have also donated to a variety of charities.
We continue to offer excellent value to our membership with luncheons featuring great educational speakers and special events such as our Lobsterfest at Liuna Gardens and Annual Golf Tournament at Heron Point. These activities allow our members to network and foster relationships with one another.
All of this cannot be done without a great board of directors. I would like to thank each board member for their past and future contributions. As a board, we are continually striving to improve your membership benefits and we are always open to hear your ideas for improvement.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our members for their support in 2010 and look forward to your continued support in 2011.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any ideas or concerns.
Looking forward to a wonderful 2011!
Regards,
Mike Kaslauskas
